Global Opportunity Quiz

What does it take to get ahead in life?

How do you get ahead in life? By having a good education? Knowing the right people? What about just being lucky? Take our 7-question global opportunity quiz to rank these and other attributes in terms of their importance to success in life. Then, compare your responses with the responses of 48,643 people in 44 countries. See which countries share your views on opportunity and which don't.

According to our new report, across the 44 nations polled, the most important attribute for getting ahead in life chosen by survey respondents is having a good education, followed by hard work and knowing the right people. Still, many also believe success can be determined by things outside a person’s control, such as luck or having a wealthy family. Being a male and giving bribes are deemed less important. Take the quiz and see how your responses compare.
